What I have To Say About Mariah

From day one when I first heard "Vision Of Love", at the age of ten I became an instant fan. Over the years, I followed Mariah's career. In 1995, I became an official Lamb! It was then that anything Mariah, I could get my hands on, I did!
Mariah, has inspired me as a writer,  musically and as a human being. Although, I did not grow up multiracial I do know about feeling like an outsider. As a "homosexual male" it was really hard coming to terms with the person I was.

Songs such as "Outside", gave me understanding. "Can't Take That Away" gave me faith. Like many other teenagers with tremendous insecurities, I made it through. Mariah's lyrics have truly touched the depths of my soul, and have helped me to be okay with who I am.
Mariah lost a bit of her fan base when she went through her "metamorphosis" in 1997. I respected her more for putting everything on the line to be who she really was. She is in my opinion one of the most beautiful, talented, and real human beings on this Earth. She has gone through so many obstacles and has overcome them. I admire her for her tremendous strength.
